The Apple Mac Book Pro series is a marvellous invention from Apple. This notebook includes so many powerful features that make it popular and familiar. One of my friends uses this model and I see there have some important features that give me so much excitement about this model, I am just describing my experience about this:
On the left side of the Mac Book there is a logo of Thunderbolt which represents a high-speed interface. This is used for moving data at the maximum speed of 10 Gbps. It has Two USB 3.0 ports (up to 5Gbps), MagSafe power port and Gigabit Ethernet port.
If you're a regular user of Apple Mac Book you can see that with the 1440 x 900 native resolutions, the 15.4-inch (diagonal) LED-backlight glossy display can provide an abundant screen.
You'll find that the Apple Mac Book Pro is functioned with integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 512MB of GDDR5 memory. This is applicable for web browsing. You can have an HD video playback with Intel HD 4000 graphics.
The Notebook supports 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB shared L3 cache. It also includes 4GB 1333MHz RAM and 500GB 5400-RPM HDD. The 4GB DDR3 memory consists of two 2GB SO-DIMMs. These two SO-DIMM slots support up to 8GB. It has built-in 77.5-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery which can stand by up to 7 hours and 85W MagSafe Power Adapter with cable management system.
You'll be able to browse internet with 802.11n WI-FI wireless networking or you can use wired Gigabit Ethernet. The wireless Bluetooth 4.0 of the Apple Mac Book pro provides you with the opportunity to connect wireless headphones, keyboard, mice etc. The big difference between MacBooks and other laptops in the ports and connections category is the recent port based on Intel's Thunderbolt high-speed I/O technology. If it looks a lot like the Mini DisplayPort connection on older MacBooks, that's because it is the same, except for the tiny lightning bolt logo next to it. It still functions as a DisplayPort output, and in fact, you're able to daisy-chain up to six Thunderbolt devices or displays to that single port.
The thunderbolt is technically capable of 10Gbps bidirectional transfer, and if Intel and Apple have their way, it may replace many other kinds of ports and connections in the future, but there are only a handful of peripherals that work with it currently.
I'm impressed by the features of Face Time chat and Omni directional microphone. These features allow you to communicate effectively with friends, family and colleagues. The Face Time HD camera supports 720p HD video chat. Face Time chat is capable of making video calls not only to Mac Book users but also to users of my Phone 4, I Phone 4S or an iPod touch model having a built-in camera. The Omni directional microphone is located under left speaker grille. You can also use it in Apple I Phone headset with microphone. The Apple Mac Book pro supports stereo speakers with subwoofer. By now, the shape and size of the MacBook Pro should be very familiar. Even more recent designs, such as the second-generation MacBook Air, are variations on it. The basic building block remains the same: a solid chunk of aluminium, which is carved down into a shell with support struts. This unibody chassis has the benefit of being thin (for a 15-inch laptop), but strong and flex-free at the same time.
One of the most tremendous features of Mac Book pro is that a full-size backlit keyboard with 78 (US) or 79 (ISO) keys, including 12 function keys and 4 arrow keys is available with it. You'll find it so comfortable to type because it provides sufficient space between keys to maintain accuracy. The computer's Multi-Touch track pad allows you to avoid the use of the mouse button and make it easy to click because the entire surface of the pad is clickable. This feature makes it possible to click quickly without any hassles. By using track pad you can comfortably click with your one finger, scroll, pitch to zoom in and out, tap, swipe, rotate the photo or PDF and will be able to drag. The touch philosophy that informs the iPad/iPhone line of devices can be said to have its roots in the large multi touch click-pad-style track-pad that's been a staple of the MacBook Pro for years. The multi-touch gestures, slightly revamped recently for OS X Lion, are incredibly useful. Once you get used to them, going back to a regular touch pad is difficult. Several Windows laptops have added larger click-pads over the past year or so, with somewhat similar multi-touch gestures, but we can easily say that none can yet compete with the MacBook's implementation.
Some of the additional features are FireWire 800 port (up to 800Mbps), SDXC card slot, and Kensington lock slot, 8 x SuperDrive, AC Wall Plug, Power Cord, Display Cleaning Cloth and Printed & Electronic Documentation. It's really cool looking and decent Notebook. Its weight only 5.6 pounds which is relatively lower than other Apple Mac Book. The height of this piece is 24.1 mm, width 364 mm and depth 249 mm. You will be able to have a 7 hours of battery backup with this model. Most of the other regular features like webcam, internal micro-phone, speaker etc are available with this model.
Service and support from Apple has always been a mixed bag. Apple includes a one-year parts-and-labour warranty, but only 90 days of telephone support. Upgrading to a full three-year plan under AppleCare will cost an extra $349 and is pretty much a must-buy, considering the proprietary nature of Apple products and their sealed bodies. Support is also accessible through a well-stocked online knowledge base, video tutorials, and e-mail with customer service, or through in-person visits to Apple's retail store Genius Bars, which, in our experience, have always been fairly frustration-free encounters. I think this is the perfect model for anyone to use and get all the features about this model of Mac book. I think everyone should try this model if you want to buy or get a Mac book.
